Introduction to Neyun
What is Neyun?
Neyun allows you to gather the information generated from your accounts in several web services and access that information in a single place. Once you connect your accounts, you will be able to sort, filter, tag, search, and explore all of your data.
Getting started
The first time you enter Neyun you will see a screen asking you to configure your accounts. By clicking on any of the service names you will be taken to the accounts screen. You can also get there by selecting 'Accounts' from the Neyun menu.
On the accounts screen select the service you want to configure and provide the requested information. Once you save the account information, Neyun will start gathering the items and tags for you.
How is my information being displayed?
Neyun reads the tags in each of your accounts and organizes your content, giving more space on the home screen for the tags that have more items. Thus, if you have configured one GMail account and you have one tag called 'work' with 100 mails and another one called 'personal' with 200 mails, your home screen will contain two lists of items, one for 'work' and a larger one for 'personal'. This is called a treemap.
How can I navigate my information?
There are several ways you can explore your content:
Drilling down
By double clicking on the title of a box, Neyun will expand that list of items. The content in the new treemap will be filtered by the tag you navigated from and will contain the tags from the original box. If you continue double clicking on the titles you will add even more filters to the content shown.
Grid filtering
If you drag and drop any of your tags from your bottom bar or from the tag cloud to either the horizontal bar below your content or to the left bar, Neyun will create a zone filtering your elements with that tag. You can drag many tags to each area and create vertical or horizontal zones for each tag. Play with it; the possibilities are endless.
